Season 2: Chapter 4 of Fortnite is in full effect right now, marrying Battle Royale Island with the world of Marvel.  We’re two weeks deep into the Chapter, which means Epic has released a couple weeks’ worth of challenges for fans to tackle.  Players who pony up the V-Bucks for a Battle Pass can take on these challenges, earn a ton of bonus XP, and even unlock some exclusive skin emotes along the way.

Need some help hunting down the locations of these challenges?  Rather than fumbling your way around the map, follow along with our quick guide to grab that well-deserved XP.

Week 1 Challenges

Search Chests at Dirty Docks

This challenge really couldn’t be easier.  All you have to do is hit up Dirty Docks on the Battle Royale Island map, and hunt down 7 chests.  What’s inside the chests doesn’t matter, and you can take as many trips to Dirty Docks you need to hit that total.  Your reward is 25,000 Season XP.

Eliminations at Holly Hedges

This should be another fairly easy challenge to accomplish.  Make your way to Holly Hedges and defeat opponents.  You only need three eliminations to earn your Season XP, which is another 25,000.

Collect Floating Rings at Misty Meadows

This challenge will require a bit more legwork on your part.  Head over to Misty Meadows and keep an eye out for four floating blue rings.  Getting to a high building in Misty Meadows should help you spot where each ring is.  If you’re looking for specifics, you can find the rings on the roof of the clock tower, the roof of a solo house to the south, the roof of a small building on the east of Misty Meadows, and the roof of the long building towards the middle of town.  Jumping through all these hoops nets you 25,000 Season XP.

Eliminate Stark Robots at Quinjet Patrol landing sites

At the start of every match on Battle Royale Island, a quartet of Quinjets will fly across the map.  If you keep an eye on them while flying in on the Battle Bus, you can see where these ships land.  You can also take a peek at the map to hunt down their icons.  Head to these Quinjets and do battle with the Stark Robots protecting the payload.  Eliminate 5 of them, and take home 25,000 Season XP.

Deal damage to opponents with Stark Industries Energy Rifles

While you’re checking out one of those Quinjet drop sites, make sure to snag yourself a Stark Industries Energy Rifle.  These suckers really pack a punch, which you’ll find out when you’re lighting up enemies to complete this challenge.  Dish out 1,000 points of damage to enemies with the Stark Industries Energy Rifle and you’ll get another 25,000 Season XP.

Gas up a vehicle at Lazy Lake

After a few challenges of jumping around and shooting down enemies, it’s time for something a bit more simple.  Grab any vehicle on the map, and drive your way to Lazy Lake.  You’ll find a gas station in Lazy Lake that’s perfect for filling up your vehicle.  Gas it up all the way and gain 25,000 Season XP.

Eliminate Doctor Doom at Doom’s Domain

The challenge worth the most Season XP in week one is also the toughest.  It’s recommended that you have a full squad for this, but it’s not necessary.  Head to Doom’s Domain on the map and find the giant black house at the back of the town.  You’ll find none other than Doctor Doom hiding here, and your challenge is to take him down.  Manage to eliminate Doctor Doom 3 separate times, and you get the handsome reward of 50,000 Season XP.

Week 2 Challenges

Search Chests at Salty Springs

The second week of challenges starts off easy with something you’ll most likely be doing in regular gameplay.  Take a trip to Salty Springs and hunt down 7 different treasure chests to open.  Once you crack open that seventh chest, you’ll get 25,000 Season XP added to your tally.

Eliminations at The Authority

The Authority building in the center of the map used to be brimming with enemy bots, but now you’re lucky if you find one or two wandering around.  To complete this challenge, you’ll most likely have to get into a firefight with some real-life players.  Shoot your way to 3 eliminations and gain another 25,000 Season XP.

Dance on top of different Sentinel heads at the Sentinel Graveyard

One of the most iconic sights in this Marvel season of Fortnite is the massive graveyard of defeated Sentinels.  You can’t miss the big guys, with multiple giant bodies lying about atop a mountain.  Make your way to the Sentinels’ resting place to literally dance on their graves.  Perform any dance emote on the heads of three different Sentinel, and another 25,000 Season XP is yours.

Destroy boats at Craggy Cliffs

Craggy Cliffs is a coastal town at the top of Battle Royale Island.  You’ll find all sorts of shipwrecks strewn about the sand, as well as in the town itself.  Find 7 of these ships and destroy them by either shooting, blowing them up, harvesting, or through any other destructive act. Once the seventh ship is no more, you’ll get 25,000 Season XP.

Bounce on different dog toys at the Ant Manor

The second week of Season 4 has seen some new locations drop in out of nowhere.  Pieces of the Marvel universe are popping up across the map, and one is a super-sized doghouse.  It’s clear that Ant-Man and Pym Particles are at play here, resulting in a location where some bonus Season XP can be earned.  Head northwest of Holly Hedges to find Ant Manor, and then jump on the four giant dog toys scattered about to earn your 25,000 Season XP.

Ride a Motorboat under different colored steel bridges

Time to commandeer one of Fortnite’s many boats and travel the waterways.  All you have to do is stick to the rivers around the map and you should eventually pass under some bridges.  Travel underneath three different colored steel bridges, and 25,000 Season XP is all yours.

Search S.H.I.E.L.D. Chests inside Quinjets

Following a Quinjet challenge from the first week, it’s time to track one of these ships again.  A full squad is recommended, and your objective is to make your way to a Quinjet.  You’ll find a massive glowing chest inside, which is going to be jam-packed with high-powered goodies.  Search 7 of those chests and you’ll get a whopping 50,000 Season XP.

Get all of the above out of the way, and you will be quite a ways forward to your next reward, and possible character skin. Until the next week’s challenges arrive that is…so get cracking!
